Another quiet photo day... We went to the nursery school to work on a funding bid, and I did some 'work' photos of the buildings and desks etc. Inside, this volunteer and a teacher were setting up some displays on the blackboard. It was just by the main door, so some late evening light was coming in, but the building was dark inside. I topped it up with a little flash.
you have lit this girl beautifully. Lovely warm colours. She seems totally unaware of the camera.
ReplyDeleteSeems.... but there is a little bit of a self conscious smile there! I think I framed it without the viewfinder - which was something I learnt from my old Bronica - you get a much better portrait if the camera isn't a barrier between eye contact - but you also get a lot of pictures of people with their head missing!
