Day Two Hundred and Forty Nine - Hammocks

  1. I think anyone who's lived in a hammock culture is going to be blown away by this one. It captures that sense of calm-but-no-privacy that is such a part of a group occasion. I love her face too- unsmiling but serene too. And those FEET! Star shot honey (and hard to get with all the bustling)

  2. Hmmm... I sat there, un-noticed for a good five minutes, waiting for her to smile. Was a bit frustrated that she didn't turn, didn't give a smile, didn't interact. It feels a bit to me like looking through a window - perhaps one of those tourist coaches in exotic cities - but yes, the feet help!

  3. I, for one. do not like hammocks. It seems impossible to get into or out of them without spillage. Awkward things. Loved the photo however. the focus and the faces and textures / colours of the material. Well done Win

  4. This is a very well composed shot, filled with colours and textures. Another favourite of mine.
