Day Two Hundred and Ten - Moon at Sunset


The moon is starting to feature regularly now (in life, and on the blog). For a change, a wider angle; the moon in the evening sky.

  2. Remember I delay the posting of photos for 7 days, so if I go away for a few days, or can't get access, my photos keep auto-posting whilst I'm off. On Sunday we had a massive full moon - I was driving across the savannah as it rose almost straight above a bush fire. Lovely view, but I really couldn't stop to capture it - I was running late with a semi-flat tyre and a flat spare!!!

  3. Arn't those big moons unbelievable. I think 'a hunters moon' is the word phrase for them.

  4. I just read a book called 'Hunter's Moon'. An ancient book, half eaten by wood ants with dried out mouldy pages. Next month I'll try again for the savannah fire moonrise (I'll take my matches!)
