- James Broscombe spent 520 days between March 2009 and October 2010 living in the remote Deep South of Guyana. Living in an Amerindian Village in a tradition thatch house enabled James to makes friends in the local community and compile a unique daily photo blog exploring lifestyles and customs of the Amerindian people of the North Amazon region.
I like the strangeness of this one: half child idol in some strange temple ritual, half Puck. He looks poised for flight.
ReplyDeleteThis is a special child, its as if he is saying "I AM" with the markings on his torso, he says to us "I have power" "I am here for a purpose" as with all your Amerindian portraits you are showing us persons with character, humor, self confidence, HUMAN! just like us :)
