- James Broscombe spent 520 days between March 2009 and October 2010 living in the remote Deep South of Guyana. Living in an Amerindian Village in a tradition thatch house enabled James to makes friends in the local community and compile a unique daily photo blog exploring lifestyles and customs of the Amerindian people of the North Amazon region.
James, your photos are amazing. It is photos like yours that got me into photography in the first place.

I love the lizard's luminescence, and the grain on the black paper gives at least a hint of scale. The best thing about it, though, I think, is the exact balance between frozenness and flight- your photo catches the moment almost better than the moment did itself. You're an artist. PS "lizzard" as in Eddie Izzard?!
